Below is a listing of our fixed monthly rates at standard levels of business complexity.
When you work with 49PAA, your monthly price will be based on your business’s individual needs. During our initial consultation we will discuss your current workflow. From there we will be able to better determine the level of service that best meets your needs.

During the initial consultation, we get to know you and your business better. We’ll discuss what a day in the life of your business looks like; what’s challenging for you and what works well. We will delve into how you currently process your financial records and look for new ways to add value. With every consultation we review your business and personal goals, as well as what you can expect when working with 49PAA.

Our firm exclusively uses Quickbooks Online (QBO) to perform all bookkeeping engagements. There are varying tiers of QBO subscriptions that are suited for differing business needs. 49PAA will help you choose the subscription level that’s right for you.
49PAA offers wholesale pricing for all our clients, which include discounts of up to 50%! This can be rebilled to your monthly bookkeeping invoice or setup as an automatic payment to your preferred card.

A records assessment is required if:
1) You would like to work with 49PAA and do not currently use QBO to track your costs (ie-tracking is performed by spreadsheet, manual ledger or other accounting software) ; and/or
2) Your records (income tax; GST; PST; WCB; Payroll tax, bank reconciliations) are not current.

After we perform the Bookkeeping Records Assessment the next step is to cleanup the records and make them current.
The pricing for this service varies: a business could be one month behind, or twelve (or more than twelve… we don’t judge). The price of this service will vary depending on how many months we need to catch up, and the current state of your records. A theoretical price that would land on the high-end of the scale would be:

This affords basic bookkeeping services for clients that have a smaller transaction volume. These clients usually have one bank account and one credit card and have 50 or less (combined) routine transactions per month. Many service contractors will fall in this category (select trades, small medical and paramedical practices, engineers, independent long-haul drivers, photographers, consultants, etc.).
Services under this level include:
Monthly bookkeeping and expense classification
Monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
No comingling of business and personal transactions
GST filing (annual)
Payroll filing (quarterly)
Access and training on useful apps that will streamline the way you do business, including Quickbooks Online

Clients at service level 2 will have greater than 50 transactions per month, 3-5 accounts and will have more complex needs.
Baseline industries for this category would be brick-and-mortar stores, developers, restaurants and larger service-based firms. These businesses will often have a steady daily stream of transactions from point-of-sale terminals. They may also require a need for inventory tracking. These clients might be seeking specific job/project costing on top of their basic services.
In addition to the services offered under Bookkeeping Level 1, Bookkeeping Level 2 includes:
More stringent accounts payable and accounts receivable tracking, monitoring and reporting
GST filings (quarterly-monthly)
Inventory tracking
Job/project costing
Merchant terminal reconciliations

Clients at service level 3 will have transactions occurring from multiple accounts. They have complex accounting needs and require more attention to satisfy the client reporting requirements.
Baseline industries for this category would be manufacturing companies, large contractors/developers, or clients that own a portfolio of companies and require reconciliations between them. They may have foreign or domestic investments and operate in multiple currencies and/or jurisdictions.
Bookkeeping Level 3 incorporates all of Bookkeeping Level 1 and 2 in a more complex currency and/or reporting environment.

Basic personal tax returns begin at $250 + GST.
Service prices for more involved returns (rental, sole proprietorship, investments) will depend on the accuracy and completeness of the client documentation that is provided. 49PAA will advise you of exactly what you need and how best to prepare it.

Fractional controllership is a service that goes beyond data entry and bookkeeping. It is designed for businesses that have reached that next level of maturity and are preparing for, or maintaining sustained growth.
There are many services that a fractional controller can provide; each service could have varying degrees of complexity. As a general budget, you can expect fees of $200/hr for the first five hours per month. The price is then scaled to client’s business requirements.

Corporate year-ends and their accompanying tax returns can vary in complexity and length of time to complete. Contact us to setup an appointment where we can discuss your unique financial needs.

Take advantage of our convenient subscription package. This pacakge has 49PAA take care of it all: bookkeeping, tax returns, corporate year-end financial statements, excise and payroll tax filings, plus quarterly accountant check-ins where we review your year-to-date results and check-in on your business strategy. Prices start at basic levels of bookkeeping.

Clients that work with us should be comfortable completing forms and uploading documents/pictures both web browser and mobile phone/tablet application.
